کینہ اور عداوت
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''جنت کے دروازے پیر اور جمعرات کے دن کھولے جاتے ہیں، پھر ہر ایسے بندے کی مغفرت کردی جاتی ہے جو اللہ کے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہ کرتا ہو، البتہ وہ شخص اس بخشش سے محروم رہتا ہے، جس کی اپنے بھائی کے ساتھ کینہ و عداوت ہو، اور فرشتوں سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ انہیں دیکھتے رہو یہاں تک کہ یہ باہم مل جائیں، انہیں دیکھتے رہو یہاں تک کہ یہ باہم میں ملاپ کرلیں۔'' (مسلم)
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رحمۃ للعالمین ہیں اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تعلیمات ساری دنیا کے لیے آبِ رحمت ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی تمام مخلوق اور تمام انسانوں کے ساتھ حسنِ سلوک کے بارے میں اپنے ماننے والوں کو جو ہدایات اور نصیحتیں فرمائیں وہ اپنی جگہ بہت اہمیت رکھتی ہیں۔ لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اللہ کا پیغمبر ماننے والی امت چونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم سے دینی رشتہ کے ذریعہ ایک برادری بنا دی گئی ہے، اور اب رہتی دنیا تک اس برادری ہی کو نبوت کی نیابت اور نمائندگی کرنی ہے اور یہ تب ہی ممکن ہے جبکہ امت کے مختلف افراد اور عناصر دینی اخوت، اللہ تعالیٰ کی رضا کے لیے ایک دوسرے سے محبت، مخلصانہ ہمدردی و خیرخواہی اور بےغرضانہ تعاون کے ذریعے ایک وحدت بنے رہیں اور ان کے دل آپس میں پوری طرح جڑے رہیں، اس لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی تعلیمات میں اس پر خاص الخاص زور دیا ہے۔
ایک اور حدیث میں اس طرح آتا ہے۔ ہر ہفتہ دو مرتبہ یعنی پیر اور جمعرات کو لوگوں کے اعمال پیش ہوتے ہیں، پھر مومن بندے کی مغفرت کردی جاتی ہے، سوائے اس بندے کے جو اپنے اور اپنے بھائی کے درمیان کینہ اور عداوت رکھتا ہو، پس (اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرشتوں کو) حکم ہوتا ہے کہ انہیں چھوڑے رکھو (ان کے معاملہ کو التواء میں رکھو) یہاں تک کہ یہ رجوع کریں اور دشمنی سے باز آجائیں۔ (بحوالہ مسلم)
یہ روایتیں بتاتی ہیں کہ انسان کے اعمال کا برابر جائزہ لیا جاتا رہتا ہے، اور ہفتہ میں خاص طور سے دو مرتبہ یہ دیکھا جاتا ہے کہ کس شخص کی کیا پوزیشن ہے، کون جنت اور مغفرت کا مستحق ہے اور کس پر جنت حرام ہے، جس کے لیے نہ جنت کے دروازے کھلیں اور نہ اس کی مغفرت ہوئی، الا یہ کہ وہ اپنی اصلاح کرلے اور اپنا معاملہ درست کرلے، ایمان نہ ہونے کی صورت میں تو نجات و مغفرت کا تصور ہی نہیں کیا جاسکتا، لیکن مومن شخص کے لیے بھی اس وقت تک جنت کے دروازے بند رہتے ہیں اور اس کی مغفرت بھی التواء میں رہتی ہے جب تک کہ ایمان کے تقاضے پورے نہ کرلے، یا دوسرے لفظوں میں ایسی زندگی اختیار نہ کرلے جو زندگی اہلِ جنت کی ہوتی ہے، ہم جانتے ہیں کہ اہلِ جنت میں باہم کوئی عداوت اور کینہ نہ ہوگا، ان کے قلوب اس طرح کی برائیوں سے پاک ہوں گے، اس لیے کہا جاسکتا ہے کہ جنت ان کے لیے ہے جو اپنے دلوں میں اپنے بھائیوں کے لیے بدخواہی اور عداوت کا کوئی جذبہ نہ رکھتے ہوں، یہی وجہ ہے کہ جن کے دلوں میں اپنے بھائی کے تئیں بغض و عناد ہوتا ہے، ان کے لیے جنت کے دروازے بند ہی رکھے جاتے ہیں، حالانکہ یہ دروازے ہفتے میں دوبار کھلتے ہیں اور دل صاف رکھنے والوں کی مغفرت کی جاتی ہے اور ان کو بلند درجات سے نوازا جاتا ہے۔
ان روایتوں سے یہ بھی معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ پیر اور جمعرات کو کثرت سے اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمتوں کا نزول ہوتا ہے، جو ان بندوں کی مغفرت اور نجات کا باعث ہوتی ہیں جو اس کے مستحق ہوتے ہیں، ان موقعوں پر لوگوں کے اعمال کا جائزہ لیا جاتا ہے تا کہ یہ فیصلہ کیا جا سکے کہ وہ خوش قسمت لوگ کون ہیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت و مغفرت اور اس کی جنت کے حقدار ہیں اور کون ہیں جن کے حصے میں محرومی کے سوا اور کچھ نہیں آ سکتا، اور وہ کون ہیں جن سے امید کی جاسکتی ہے کہ شاید وہ اپنی اصلاح کرلیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت انہیں اپنی شفقت میں لے لے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب مسلمانوں کو کینہ و عداوت اور ہر قسم کے دوسرے برے اخلاق سے محفوظ فرمائے۔ آمین

English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays, and then every servant who does not associate anything with Allah is forgiven — except the person who bears rancour and enmity towards his brother. It is said to the angels: 'Leave these two until they reconcile; leave these two until they make peace with one another.'" (Muslim)
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is a mercy to the worlds, and his teachings are the water of mercy for the whole world. The guidance and counsel he gave his followers regarding good conduct towards all of Allah's creation and all human beings are, in their own place, of great importance. But since the Ummah that believes in him as the Messenger of Allah has, by Allah's command, been made into a single brotherhood through the bond of faith — and it is this very brotherhood that must, until the end of the world, act as the deputy and representative of prophethood — and this is possible only when the various members and elements of the Ummah remain a single unity through the brotherhood of faith, mutual love for the sake of Allah, sincere sympathy and goodwill, and selfless cooperation, with their hearts fully joined together, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) laid the very greatest emphasis on this in his teachings.
Another hadith comes in this way: twice each week, on Mondays and Thursdays, people's deeds are presented, and then the believing servant is forgiven, except the servant who harbours rancour and enmity between himself and his brother; then (Allah) commands (the angels): leave these two (defer their case) until they turn back and desist from enmity. (from Muslim)
These narrations show that a person's deeds are constantly under review, and especially twice a week it is examined what each person's position is — who deserves Paradise and forgiveness, and upon whom Paradise is forbidden, so that for him neither do the gates of Paradise open nor is he forgiven, unless he reforms himself and sets his affair right. Where there is no faith, salvation and forgiveness cannot even be conceived; but even for the believer the gates of Paradise remain closed and his forgiveness remains deferred until he fulfils the requirements of faith — in other words, until he adopts the kind of life that is the life of the people of Paradise. We know that among the people of Paradise there will be no mutual enmity or rancour; their hearts will be pure of such evils. So it can be said that Paradise is for those who hold no ill-will or enmity in their hearts towards their brothers. This is why the gates of Paradise are kept shut for those who bear malice and spite towards their brother — even though these gates open twice a week and those who keep their hearts clean are forgiven and raised to lofty ranks.
