گانے کی حقیقت
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”دولت مندی و توانگری کا تعلق مال و اسباب سے نہیں، دولت مندی تو دل کی دولت مندی ہے۔“ (بخاری و مسلم)
انسان کی تمام کوششوں کا مقصد ایک ہی ہے، وہ ہے دل کا سکون۔ اب ہر انسان اپنی سوچ اور اپنی سمجھ کے مطابق اس کو تلاش کرتا ہے، کسی کے خیال میں مال و دولت کی کثرت سے سکون اور اطمینان حاصل ہوتا ہے، کوئی اس کو جاہ یعنی شہرت اور ناموری میں ڈھونڈتا ہے، اور اسباب کی اہمیت سے انکار نہیں لیکن کیا یہ واقعی ہمیں اطمینان اور سکون دے پاتی ہیں؟ اس سوال کا جواب ہم میں سے ہر ایک اپنے اپنے دل میں جھانک کر پا سکتا ہے۔ خود باری تعالیٰ اس انداز میں اس حقیقت کا اظہار کرتے ہیں، ترجمہ: ”وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے اور اللہ کے ذکر سے ان کے دلوں کو اطمینان ہوتا ہے، خوب سمجھ لو اللہ کے ذکر سے دلوں کو اطمینان ہو جاتا ہے۔“ (الرعد۔ ۲۸)
اس سے ہمیں معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ دولت، حکومت، منصب یا جاگیر کوئی چیز انسان کو حقیقی سکون و اطمینان نہیں بخش سکتی، صرف اللہ کی یاد سے جو تعلق بنتا ہے وہی دلوں کے اضطراب و وحشت کو سکون دیتا ہے، اور بے شک وہ یاد اور ذکر قرآن ہی ہے۔
اس سے ہمیں معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ دولت، حکومت، منصب یا جاگیر کوئی چیز انسان کو حقیقی سکون و اطمینان نہیں بخش سکتی، صرف اللہ کی یاد سے جو تعلق بنتا ہے وہی دلوں کے اضطراب و وحشت کو سکون دیتا ہے، اور بے شک وہ یاد اور ذکر قرآن ہی ہے۔
English translation
Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Wealth and affluence are not measured by property and possessions; true wealth is the wealth of the heart."
The aim of all human striving is one and the same: peace of the heart. Everyone seeks it according to their own thinking and understanding. Some suppose that peace and contentment come from an abundance of wealth; others look for it in status, fame and reputation. The importance of means cannot be denied, but do they really grant us contentment and peace? Each of us can find the answer by looking into our own heart. Allah, the Exalted, expresses this truth thus: "Those who believe, and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah — know well that in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." (Ar-Ra'd 28) From this we learn that no wealth, power, office or estate can grant a person true peace and contentment; only the bond formed through the remembrance of Allah calms the restlessness and desolation of hearts — and that remembrance is none other than the Qur'an.
