فضیلتِ تبلیغ

It is narrated from Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever preserves forty hadith concerning the rulings of the religion and conveys them to the ummah, Allah will raise him as a jurist (a very great scholar), and I (the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him) will be his intercessor and witness on the Day of Resurrection."

It was on the basis of this hadith that Imam Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) compiled forty hadith, well known by the name "al-Arba'in al-Nawawiyya" (the Forty of Nawawi). To attain this merit, scholars of every age have gathered forty hadith on various subjects and conveyed them to the people. You too can easily attain this merit: pass on to those you know the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that reaches you, and become deserving of the intercession of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).
