جنت سے قریب اور دوزخ سے دور کرنے والی بات

It is narrated from Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was on a journey when a bedouin came and stood before him and took hold of the rope of his she-camel, then said: "In the name of Allah, O Muhammad (peace be upon him)! Tell me the thing that will bring me near to Paradise and far from the Fire of Hell."

The narrator says that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stopped (that is, he halted his she-camel in order to answer this question); then he looked toward his companions and, drawing their attention, said: "He has been granted success" (or he said: "He has been well guided"). Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to the questioner: "Yes, say it again — how did you put it?" The questioner repeated his same question (that is, "Tell me the thing that will bring me near to Paradise and far from the Fire of Hell").

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Worship and serve Allah alone and associate nothing with Him; keep establishing the prayer; keep paying the zakat; and maintain ties of kinship (that is, treat your relatives well and fulfil their rights)."

Having completed this, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to the questioner: "Now let go of the rope of my she-camel."
